Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy applies to the Panic Singer mobile application, its account and leaderboard services, notifications, support, and related product services. It does not cover the rest of the Panic Studio portfolio website except where that website is used to make a privacy or account-deletion request.

The data controller is Khachatur Ghazaryan, trading as Panic Studio, Nork 13th Street, 97/7 House, Yerevan 0047, Armenia. You can contact the controller at panicsingerapp@gmail.com.

The short version

  • Panic Singer can be played as a guest. An account is optional unless a feature specifically requires one.
  • Usage analytics, crash reporting, notifications, and music-offer personalization are separate optional choices.
  • Personalized music offers use individual song answers and response speed only after you choose to enable them.
  • We do not sell personal data. Artists, labels, managers, and campaign clients do not receive your identity or raw answer history.
  • You can change optional choices, export account data, or delete your account and associated data from the app.

Data we collect

The data collected depends on whether you play as a guest, create an account, enable optional features, make a purchase, or contact support. Data may come directly from you, automatically from the app and device, or from authentication, store, advertising, and payment providers.

Data that stays on your device

App and song-language choices, gameplay configuration, downloaded audio and artwork, local download state, recent VS team names, and some guest progress remain on your device unless a described sync or optional collection feature applies.

Tilt gameplay reads motion sensors locally. Motion samples are not uploaded. Panic Singer does not record microphone audio. Opening YouTube or another external service leaves Panic Singer and is governed by that service’s policy.

Personalized music offers

If you choose “Personalize my offers,” Panic Singer uses the songs and artists you recognize, the answers you select, and how quickly you answer to infer music interests. This profile may be used to choose relevant in-app promotions such as releases, albums, artists, or concerts, and may later help tailor gameplay recommendations.

Campaign clients may ask us to reach an audience with relevant music interests. Panic Studio performs that selection. We do not give campaign clients your name, email, username, account identifier, individual answers, or answer speed. We do not combine this profile with third-party browsing activity.

This processing is based on your consent. Choosing general offers does not restrict gameplay. You can turn personalization off in Data & Privacy settings. Collection and use for personalization stop immediately. Once the server receives your choice, previously synced individual music answers are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. During this period they are held only so that you can restore personalization, not used to select offers. Turning personalization back on before the deadline cancels this deletion. Normal retention limits still apply, and unsent answers on your device are discarded immediately. Required aggregate game progress, such as total correct and wrong counts, remains part of account progress until account deletion.

If an account age identifies a player as under 18, personalized music offers are disabled. The resulting profile is used only to select content or offers and does not produce legal or similarly significant effects.

How we use data

  • Provide gameplay, downloads, accounts, progress synchronization, leaderboards, purchases, and support.
  • Authenticate users, secure the service, prevent abuse, enforce limits, and diagnose failures.
  • Maintain the coin wallet, entitlements, achievements, and recoverable account state across devices.
  • Send notifications you requested and measure whether product features work as intended.
  • Improve the app using optional analytics and diagnostics when you enable them.
  • Select relevant first-party music offers when you separately enable personalization.
  • Meet legal, accounting, platform, and enforcement obligations.

When data is shared

We share data only as needed to operate the app, fulfill your request, protect the service, or comply with law. Providers process data under their own terms and our service arrangements where applicable. We require service providers handling data for us to use appropriate protection consistent with this policy and applicable law.

  • Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, and push messaging.
  • Google Mobile Ads and its consent platform for user-initiated rewarded ads, subject to the available consent choices.
  • Apple and Google for sign-in, app distribution, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and platform security.
  • RevenueCat for purchase entitlement and subscription-status management using an app-specific identifier.
  • Technical, legal, or security providers when reasonably necessary to operate or protect Panic Singer.
  • Public authorities or another organization where required by law, necessary to protect rights and safety, or part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required.

No sale of personal data

We do not sell personal data or disclose it to unaffiliated parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. Sponsored music targeting is performed by Panic Studio using the first-party choice described above.

International transfers

Panic Studio is based in Armenia. Providers may process data in Armenia, the European Economic Area, the United States, and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, transfers use recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections, or provider transfer mechanisms.

How long data is kept

We keep personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose described, subject to legal, security, dispute, and backup requirements.

Panic Singer retention periods
DataTypical retention
Account, profile, progress, scores, and entitlementsUntil account deletion, unless a limited record must be retained by law or to resolve a transaction or dispute.
Individual music-personalization answersUp to 90 days. Disabling personalization schedules deletion after 30 days, or sooner if normal retention expires. Re-enabling before the deadline cancels that scheduled deletion without extending normal retention. Account deletion removes these answers immediately.
First-party usage interactionsUp to 90 days, or earlier when Usage analytics is disabled or the account is deleted.
FeedbackUp to 730 days, or earlier on account deletion when linked to an account.
Push token and notification preferencesUntil notifications are disabled, the token is replaced, or the account is deleted.
Local device dataUntil removed in the app, the app’s data is cleared, or the app is uninstalled.
Provider and infrastructure recordsAccording to configured provider, security, transaction, logging, and backup schedules, then deleted or de-identified.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain advertising uses; and complain to a data-protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

The app’s Data & Privacy page lets you change optional collection choices. Signed-in users can copy a structured data export and delete their account from the Profile page. Device settings also control notification permission and certain platform identifiers.

Account and data deletion

The fastest method is Profile, Account, Delete account and data inside Panic Singer. This removes the Firebase identity and associated Panic Singer profile, synchronized progress, scores, linked feedback, notification registration, usage interactions, personalization choice, and retained individual music answers.

You may also start a deletion request through the website. We may ask you to verify account ownership. Store purchase history and active subscriptions are controlled by Apple or Google and are not deleted by Panic Singer. Deleting the account does not cancel a store subscription, so cancel it separately in your store settings if needed.

Children and younger players

Panic Singer is a Teen-rated general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 should not create an account or enable optional collection. If local law requires parental authorization at a higher age, a parent or guardian must provide it.

If you believe a child provided personal data without the required authorization, contact us. We will investigate and delete it where required. Known under-18 accounts cannot enable personalized music offers.

Security

We use access controls, authenticated account endpoints, encrypted network transport, bounded data schemas, random public identifiers, and retention limits intended to protect data. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your account credentials private and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, providers, law, or data practices change. The effective date and version at the top identify the current policy. If a change materially affects an optional consent, we will ask for a new choice where required.
